A Maneuvering-Board Approach to Path Planning with Moving Obstacles
In this paper we describe a new approach to the problem of path planning with moving obstacles. Our approach is based on the maneuvering board method commonly used for nautical navigation. We have extended this method to handle cases where obstacles may maneuver at any time and where knowledge of the position and velocity of the obstacles may be uncertain.

Title of dissertation: BUFFER-ON-BOARD MEMORY SYSTEM Elliott Cooper-Balis, Doctor of Philosophy, 2012 Dissertation directed by: Professor Dr. Bruce Jacob Dept of Electrical & Computer Engineering The design and implementation of the commodity memory architecture has resulted in significant limitations in a system’s speed and capacity. To circumvent these limitations, designers and vendors have ...
متن کاملArtificial Immune System Approach for Air Combat Maneuvering
Since future air combat missions will involve both manned and unmanned aircraft, the primary motivation for this research is to enable unmanned aircraft with intelligent maneuvering capabilities. During air combat maneuvering, pilots use their knowledge and experience of maneuvering strategies and tactics to determine the best course of action. As a result, we try to capture these aspects using...
متن کاملDesign of Distributed On-board Computer System
Currently KERI is participating a project whose goal is to develop the Korean High Speed Train(KHST) with maximum speed of 350kph. KERI’s responsibility is the electrical system engineering that includes engineering design of an on-board computer system for diagnosis and control of trainset and electrical/mechanical devices. A system engineering approach of the design is performed in order to g...
